The list of Participating Countries is published in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the IECQ, QC 001002-1: 1998, subclause 1.5.
It includes the following information for each participating country:
- the name and address of the National Authorized Institution;
- the name and address of the National Standards Organization;
- the number and title of any national document used to implement the Basic Rules and the Rules of Procedure of the System in the country, or a statement that implementation is achieved through their direct adoption.
It furthermore includes the following information for participating countries which are full members of the Conformity Assessment Bodies Committee:
- the name and address of Certification Bodies;
- the name and address of Supervising Inspectorate(s)s;
- details of any SI’s subcontractors (see QC 001002-3, subclause 1.1.8);
- the number and the title of the National Statement of Surveillance Arrangements;
- the Mark of Conformity, if any, and the information to be associated with it (see QC 001002-2, clause 2);
- the geographical area over which Supervising Inspectorate(s)s exercise jurisdiction;
- the technological area over which Supervising Inspectorate(s)s exercise jurisdiction.
When a National Authorized Institution of one country has delegated the responsibility for the surveillance of all procedures for quality assessment necessary for the System to a Supervising Inspectorate(s) in another country, this is also stated in the listing.
