About IECQ Training Bodies

The IECQ System provides industry with a "Supply chain verification tool" for seeking assurance that electronic components, assemblies, processes and related materials conform to declared technical Standards and Specifications.

 

Technically competent personnel are an integral part of the IECQ System. In support, IECQ facilitate standardized training via both:

• The provision of IECQ qualified Training Bodies, and
• IECQ Standard Training Course Material

IECQ 04-1 Standard Training – Part 1: IECQ Training Body Requirements and Process for IECQ Acceptance, Rules of Procedure set out the application, acceptance and maintenance process for Training Providers seeking to be accepted and maintain acceptance for their training services as an IECQ Training Body (IECQ TB). IECQ 04-1 is to be used in conjunction with the IECQ Basic Rules, IECQ 01 and as applicable: IECQ 04-5, Standard Training – Part 5: Standard operational procedures for conducting IECQ HSPM Training.

 

Training Providers wishing to participate in the IECQ System and be part of the IECQ Conformity Assessment Bodies’ Committee (CABC) in accordance with IECQ 01 – IECQ Basic Rules, IECQ 04 Standard Training – Part 1: IECQ Training Body Requirements and Process for IECQ Acceptance are required to complete an application form IECQ MC/242/Q.

 

Applicant Training Providers shall obtain endorsement from one of the IECQ MB’s as part of their application and have obtained RABQSA Certification as per the rules of procedure.
